This illustration was born from the beautiful collaboration between UPPERCASE Magazine and They Draw, with the invitation open to all to illustrate our version of the Great Outdoors Illustration Challenge theme. Obviously, I barely saw her, full of enthusiasm and joy!

As you may know, Uppercase Magazine is a wonderful source of inspiration, full of eclectic and inspiring content. It has an enthusiastic and loyal readership of designers, illustrators, craftspeople, creative entrepreneurs and paper lovers around the world.

While They Draw, is a fantastic creative playground where people who love to draw can find community and inspiration. They showcase a variety of styles from illustrators all around the world, and, they’re super kind people!

For me, as an illustrator who specializes in watercolor floral illustration and hand painted botanical designs, this topic was great!

I love to draw the floral version of any motif, because i think that with a ‘botanical touch’ everything looks more alive and beautiful.What i like the most is illustrating imaginary flowers and fairy butterflies that sprout spontaneously in my imagination!

I specially enjoy painting botanical butterflies and winged flowers to celebrate that life is a dance!

So, this is my best version of my happy place outdoors!
